One Piece TCG is one of the fastest-growing trading card games worldwide, with 2,881 cards across 16 sets as of 2026. Bandai releases a new booster set every quarter, organized play is active across North America, Europe, and Asia, and singles are affordable compared to older TCGs. Starter Decks cost around $15 and are tournament-legal out of the box. The game's Life-based combat system is easy to learn but has deep competitive depth.

OPTCG is the community shorthand for One Piece TCG (One Piece Card Game), Bandai's two-player trading card game based on Eiichiro Oda's manga and anime. Players each pick a Leader card, build a 50-card main deck around one or two of six colors (Red, Green, Blue, Purple, Black, Yellow), and battle using a Life-based combat system powered by DON!! resource cards. The game launched globally in December 2022 and is on a quarterly booster cadence.

Pick a Leader card first, then build a 50-card deck using only cards that match your Leader's color identity (one or two of the six colors). Maximum 4 copies of any card. The deck builder at /builder validates these rules in real time and links to TCGplayer for one-click purchasing. A good starting point is copying a tournament-winning list from /decklists and adjusting it to your collection.

The /database page has every released card (2,881 total), filterable by color, type (Leader, Character, Event, Stage), cost, power, counter, attribute, and keyword effect. Each card links to its detail page with alternate-art variants, tournament usage stats, and live TCGplayer prices updated daily.

Bandai has not released an official digital client. For free casual play, the community uses OPTCGSim, a browser-based simulator with full rule enforcement. For ranked play, TCG MM runs ELO-tracked ladder matches. Copy any deck from /decklists or /builder and paste it into either platform.

Red is aggressive rush (high power, fast attacks). Green controls the board by resting opponent cards. Blue bounces cards back to hand for tempo advantage. Purple ramps DON!! resources to play expensive cards early. Black reduces costs and removes threats efficiently. Yellow manipulates Life cards for defensive resilience. Most competitive decks use one or two colors based on their Leader.

Sealed product (Booster Boxes, Starter Decks) is available through Bandai TCG+ authorized retailers and local game stores. Singles are widely available on TCGplayer, which lists every card with current market prices. Card pages and decklists on this site link directly to TCGplayer listings. The /meta page calculates leader performance using Bayesian-adjusted win rates, which correct for sample size so a leader with 5 matches does not outrank one with 500. Data comes from 2,905+ tournament decklists across West and East regional play. Leaders are placed in S/A/B/C/D tiers. The matchup matrix shows head-to-head win percentages between any two leaders.
